I fell in love with the Sierra when I climbed Lone Pine Peak in the Eastern Sierra in the 1970s. The Sierra Nevada mountains are the most sublime place I know. Now, climate change is affecting this place I cherish. Scientists report that one of my favorite uninvited camping buddies -- the Inyo chipmunk -- has vanished. Who will be next? The Sierra Nevada Alliance is working tirelessly to reverse the effects of global warming and protect the Sierra for future generations. Please give to the Alliance, one of the most effective organizations I know.
